While I get my gear in order and my ducks in a row, I thought I kick things off with a hello and a song.

I wrote “People Who Talk” on my front porch step, a couple of weeks after moving into the place I now call home. Things were upside down at the time - extreme joy and deep sadness were all wrapped up with me in the same blanket - grief and gratitude all at once - a tidal wave of shit on the sunniest day. On the day that we moved in, we witnessed a family of mourning doves move into a nest that was perched on the side of our gutters. A baby bird was born just a few days later. New beginnings and big endings all at once.

Lots of light,

MG
